IN THE FALL OF 2005,

my husband and I cycled by the old Hallsboro store, a General store built in 1850.  It's doors were closed and the building was in disrepair, but in it we saw a glimmer of what it had once been and a vision of what it could become once again.  And so, trusting that vision, we opened Gather.  What began as a showplace for my landscape paintings and some Scottish pine antiques has grown into a retail destination featuring a well-curated mix of furniture, home accessories & gift items- an always unique mix of antique, vintage and the newly designed. We continue to seek out one-of-a-kind items and are always on the hunt for new and exciting products and upcoming artisans. We now rent our unique space for special events as well; the charm of our historic building is the perfect setting for intimate gatherings.  Prop rental and design services are also available.   We hope you will visit Gather where we invite you to enjoy an unhurried and pleasant shopping experience.  We welcome your company, comments, and suggestions.  Hope to see you soon!
